Teaching and development
Interns and residents train in the outpatient clinics, laboratories and wards of the university hospitals. Each year the university also contracts national referral, general, district and private hospitals and maternity homes, where undergraduate placements and residency rotations take place.
A €7.5 million Austrian concessional loan (Government Resolution No. 271 of 2021) re-equipped the Central Hospital, the Central Hospital of Mongolian Medicine and the Central Dental Hospital, including Mongolia's first digital prosthodontic and orthodontic laboratories.
